Towards the end of last year, we decided to Crowdfund on a new platform set up by Tesco to help small food and drink companies to raise funding. We wanted to launch the UK’s first ever range of #AirDried fruit & vegetable crisps specially made for children but the cost of doing so was hampering our efforts so when we were asked if we would like to raise funds on the Tesco Backit platform we jumped at the chance. A few weeks and a lot of sleepless nights later, we over funded and raised over £22,000! It was a phenominal result and a humbling experience.

We are so very grateful to everyone who pledged, who encouraged, who supported, for it has enabled us to put the wheels in motion for launching Nim’s Kids. Those who pledged will be first to recieve their rewards of Nim’s Kids and subscription boxes before going on sale in shops and schools! We are also very grateful to #Tesco for setting up the #Backit platform, for all the support they have given us and not taken a single penny in commission!

‘This was more than double the amount raised by any other campaign on Backit to date…’

Nim’s Kids will be made using as much British fruit and veg as possible in our very own production factory in Kent. 100% natural with no additives, no preservative, no added sugar, and certainly not a single drop of oil, each pack will count as 1 of 5 a day.

A huge thanks to Phil Parkinson of Who Dares Designs for once again hitting the brief right on target and coming up with these amazing packaging concepts.
